How many songs should I have at my ceremony?

There's nothing like having your wedding ceremony song choices (which are personal to you) played live and it just adds to the magic of the day. So how many should you have?
In my experience 3 - 4 songs works great!
One as the bride walks in (please have tissues at the ready - myself included! I always get emotional at this point, its my absolute favourite bit!)
One - two whilst signing the register (two songs ensures there are no awkward silences or loud chatter whilst photographs are being taken!)
One whilst the newlyweds exit (dancing down the aisle is encouraged!)
You can of course have as many or as little songs as you like but I have found that the above works best and people are more likely to pay attention to live music rather than songs played from a speaker.
